If you are an Ontario Works participant or an employable ODSP spouse, the following workshops may assist you in finding or maintaining a job. For more information, contact your employment worker.

Out Front is a mandatory employment information session 45 minutes in duration. The session is intended to provide new employable Ontario Works applicants with information regarding Ontario Works program requirements, employment supports and benefits.

Job Retention is a one-day workshop focusing on strategies for maintaining employment. Soft skill development in healthy workplace habits, attitudes and effective communication are explored.

Service Excellence is designed by the Ontario Tourism Education Corporation (OTEC) as a dynamic, interactive and engaging one-day workshop to prepare individuals with the skills and tools to create memorable service experiences resulting in customer loyalty and successful customer-centric organizations. Graduates will receive an OTEC certificate of recognition.

Next Steps is an eight-week program providing an overview of individual employment readiness. Participants will receive instruction in areas of career direction, goal setting, communication and interview skills.
