Long-Term Care

Hastings Manor and Hastings Centennial Manor are municipal homes owned and operated by the County of Hastings in association with the Cities of Belleville and Quinte West.  They are legislated by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care under Bill 140. 

Hastings/Quinte Long Term Care Services is dedicated to the continuous improvement of the residents' quality of life and the continual development of the organization, its people, its capabilities, and the capacity to enhance its own future.

Vision Statement
To be a leader in the provision of Long Term Care services through the continuous improvement of the quality of life of our client population, and the promotion of Residents’ Rights in a health and safe environment.

Mission Statement
Hastings/Quinte Long Term Care Homes encourage residents to achieve their optimum quality of life by providing a variety of services and support to meet their current and future needs with a special focus on the continuous enhancement of safety for all the clients we serve.

Guiding Principles
The homes recognize that each resident must be given the opportunity to realize their unique potential to enjoy a meaningful lifestyle, and the right to receive a high standard of care which includes:

  • the right to live in a safe, secure and comfortable environment;
  • participation, and rights respected in the context of our individual community culture;
  • making informed choices or having representation in their plan of care and evaluation of services;
  • their cultural, physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs met in a home-like atmosphere;
  • receiving compassionate care from professional, knowledgeable, competent employees, physicians and partners;
  • privacy to the highest degree possible;
  • maintaining their relationships and dignity;
  • integration into the community.
