Hastings County Children's Services is responsible for the managing and/or delivery of the following Services:

• Fee Subsidy, which provides Financial Assistance to families who require help with their child care costs.

• Directly Operated Child Care Programs which include St. Michael’s After School Program, and Sir John A MacDonald’s Before and After School Program.

• Provide financial supports to qualified Day Care centers for Health and Safety requests and improvements in salaries and benefits for day care staff. Children’s Services also provides Special Needs Resourcing funds primarily to purchase the services of resource teachers for children with Special Needs.
