We just held two fun events to launch the 2015 Summer Tourism Season.
The first was held the evening of June 17 at Farmtown Park in Stirling in partnership with Bay of Quinte Tourism. We called it a "Hastings Hoedown". Guests enjoyed complimentary drinks and snacks from the Cheddar & Ale Trail, Chocolate & Apple Trail and members of the Quinte Restaurant Association. Live music entertained everyone which was followed by presentations and greetings from host organizations. At right is our Warden Rick Phillips bringing greetings.
Then on June 24, we held a second launch in North Hastings in partnership with the Bancroft & District Chamber of Commerce. The evening provided time to mix and mingle with other tourism related businesses while enjoying food prepared by the Granite Restaurant. Guests enjoyed a sneak peek into the new Artisan's Junction store, which is located within the revitalized Train Station and Chamber offices, and sells local artisans' creations.
