Date: July 1, 2017 Location: Arena and Memorial Park
The Crowe Valley Lions Club hosts a great Canada Day celebration annually on July 1. There is a parade that starts at the arena and ends at Memorial Park at 10 a.m. After the parade there are children’s games and fun activities going on in the park. At night there are always fireworks to enjoy.
Location: Blairton Lighthouse at 8:30 pm
Crowe Lake Waterway Association will have its 'world famous lighted boat parade' & fireworks display on the lake. The Parade boats assemble at Blairton Lighthouse at 8:30 pm, and then travel clockwise around the Lake. If you'd like to join the Parade somewhere along the route, that's fine. As long as we have the largest # of boats in the Parade as it passes Booster Park, we'll be very happy. (Are records show that 72 boats is the record to date. So let's see if we can break that record this year. 150 boats would be awesome!)
